Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese

Nothing beats a good old fashion tomatoe soup and grilled cheese sandwich on a cold winter day.  No fancy recipe here, just Cambell's tomatoe soup with a 1/2 can of 1% milk with a 1/2 can of water.  I did this to save calories.  My grilled cheese was 2% Borden American cheese, and 100% whole wheat bread.  Made without butter, just Pam and a frying pan.  Yummy!

2011 Winter Blizzard

Backyard

The worst of the blizzard of 2011 for us is not the frozen yards or streets but when your pipes freeze and you can't use the bathroom.  Yes, our upstairs bathroom pipes froze.  The tub, sink and even the toilet pipes are frozen.  Luckly we have 2 bathrooms downstairs that are working just fine.  Now, we have added heaters to the bathroom and pray and wait for them to thaw out.

What is odd is you would think the upstairs would be the safest place because heat rises.  But aparently there is a draft from the overhang out the backdoor patio and is open to drafts.  You can't see the opening but you know ts there. We need to figure out what to do to prevent this from happening again in the future.
