New Dance Game Fun

My daughter came to visit and brought her dance game. Oh my gosh is it fun and its great for the whole family. It sure is more fun than my Dancing with the Stars. This puts my game to shame. My next game is to get a dance revolution for the Wii so I can have this much fun all the time. It's really a good work out. The only one not interested is my hubby he rather golf with Tiger Woods for the Wii.

Getting fit in 2010!

I've got a major resolution for this new year. It get fit and loose this belly fat. Argh! Over the last two Christmases I've put on needless belly fat and weight, over 13# which is way too much for me. I hate to sit and see that stomach roll of mine. So I've decided to eat healthier and workout more. I know I could go to the gym 6 days a week but I choose not to. So I go to the gym for Zumba three days a week and try to get the other workouts at home.

So here's my solution, I got the Wii EA Active personal trainer and I have the Wii Dancing with the stars so hopefully these will help me get into shape. The salesman at the mall said that is wife lost 15# doing the Wii active in the 90 challenge and he lost 6#, so I hope it works for me.

If anyone has done this challenge be share with me because I would love to hear your results. Need a little encouragement here!

We got a Wii

My husband decided to buy us a wii on Friday. We got the sports version. It's so much fun. We had some of the grandkids over and they just had a blast. At first they thought Nana and Papa are too old for one. Then when we played with them they realized that we were not too old. Kids are so funny.

Wii is the only game my husband and I even considered buying because its the only game that you are actively involved and not just sitting on your bottom. I bowled with 3 of my gradkids from 11-7. Wii makes you feel like you are right at the bowling alley. All the games are so fun and you can get physically exhausted from playing. Wii is a great family game and I would recommend it to anyone you has children or grandkids. Heck tonight, only adults are home and we are still playing.
