Electrolyte Water Recipe

The temperatures are already soaring in the triple digits.  Our bodies require plenty of water to prevent dehydration.  Electrolytes also to help in the prevention of dehydration. There are many drinks that already come enhanced with electrolytes but they are full sugar.  I personally am not fond of sweetened drinks so I have found some recipes for electrolyte water.  Before workouts is another time when you need to replenish your electrolytes to prevent dehydration.

Ingredients
1 liter of water
1/2 tsp of baking soda
2 tbsp of agave nectar
1/2 tbsp of sea salt

Directions
Combine all ingredients in water bottle and sip during workout as needed, or when ever you are going to be outdoors in this three digit temperatures.

Another version

1 L water
1/4 tsp. salt,
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. sugar or honey.

Featured Artisan Monika of My European Touch

This weeks blog ring featured artisan is Monika of My European Touch. Monika has been a mosaic artist for 8 years now. She specializes in doing mosaics using a style referred to as "Pique Assiette or Tesserae" This process involves transforming vintage china/porcelain plates into artistic designs that are always one of a kind and my own.

As you take a closer look you will notice that she does do use precise cut, nipped bone china porcelain plates that otherwise would have been dispersed off and give it a new life in form of a mosaic art piece.

Monikahas sold and shipped all over the world, Hong Kong, Australia, Bahrain, Great Britain to name a few. And of course all
over the United States.
